Taboo is a BBC television drama series, exclusively available in the Netherlands through Videoland. To promote the release of the series we set up a large rich media campaign at Storm Digital.
I personally took care of the concepting, animation and coding of all the creatives. A banner set consisting of 9 formats, a Homepage takeover, Facebook & Instagram ads, cinemagraphs and a canvas ad were created. The campaign was nominated by Weborama as campaign of the month.
Below you can find a preview of one of the banner creatives. Notice the face ‘morphing’ and eye blinking animation when you hover over the creative.
To make the Facebook & Instagram campaigns stand out I created a couple of cinemagraphs from the pilot episode. These cinemagraphs are ready to be branded and enriched with the right copy. Below you can find a preview of one of the Cinemagraphs.
I translated the animation for the bannersets to a responsive full-width homepage takeover that immediately draws your attention upon loading. You can preview the animation at this link.
